List of physical and chemical testing equipment for metal material laboratories - mechanics, hardness, metallography, non-destructive testing

Jinan Wenan instrument and equipment Co., Ltd. can provide a complete set of instruments and equipment for physical and chemical testing of metal materials, including mechanics, hardness, metallographic analysis, and non-destructive testing. If you need to build a new laboratory, you can contact us at any time. We can provide you with a one-stop service such as a complete set of equipment selection, equipment procurement, and after-sales service training.

Based on our experience, we have compiled a list of equipment required for the physical and chemical testing laboratory of metal materials:

Mechanical testing:

The universal testing machine is a highly versatile product that can meet the requirements of metal measurement tests such as tension, compression, bending, and shearing. It can obtain the tensile strength, yield strength and other performance indicators of the measured material, and can realize the process qualification performance verification test of the material or product.

The impact testing machine is a product developed in strict accordance with the national standard GB/T3808-2002 "Inspection of Pendulum Impact Testing Machines", and the impact test of metal materials is carried out according to the national standard GB/T229-1994 "Metal Charpy Notch Impact Test Method". It mainly tests ferrous metals with large impact toughness, especially steel and its alloys.

Hardness test:

Hardness test is a simple and easy test method in mechanical property test. In order to use hardness test to replace some mechanical property test, a more accurate conversion relationship between hardness and strength is needed in production.

Brinell hardness (HB): Brinell hardness tester is used to measure the Brinell hardness of ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals and bearing alloy materials. Brinell hardness tester is divided into ordinary Brinell hardness tester, electronic Brinell hardness tester and digital Brinell hardness tester.

Rockwell hardness (HR): Rockwell hardness tester is used to test the hardness of various steel parts. It is the most used hardness tester by customers because of its low price and high efficiency. Including manual Rockwell hardness tester, electric Rockwell hardness tester and digital Rockwell hardness tester.

Vickers hardness (HV): Vickers hardness tester is used to measure the hardness of ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, IC thin sheets, surface coatings and carburized layers and nitrided layers. Vickers hardness test is mainly used in laboratories, has high requirements on the surface of workpieces, and is the most accurate of all hardness testers. According to the different test forces, it is divided into microhardness tester and Vickers hardness tester.

Leeb hardness: Leeb hardness tester is mainly used for hardness testing of large metal workpieces. It needs to convert hardness and its accuracy is not as high as that of desktop hardness tester.

Metallographic analysis:

Metallographic analysis is one of the important means of metal material test and research. It adopts the principle of quantitative metallography and determines the three-dimensional spatial morphology of alloy structure by measuring and calculating the metallographic microstructure of the two-dimensional metallographic sample grinding surface or film, so as to establish the quantitative relationship between alloy composition, structure and performance. Applying image processing system to metallographic analysis has the advantages of high precision and high speed, which can greatly improve work efficiency. Metallographic analysis requires metallographic microscope and metallographic sample preparation equipment.

Metallographic microscope: metallographic microscope with image analysis.

Metallographic sample preparation equipment: metallographic pre-grinding machine, metallographic polishing machine, metallographic grinding and polishing machine, metallographic cutting machine, metallographic inlay machine.

Nondestructive testing:

Nondestructive testing refers to the method of inspecting and testing the structure, properties, state and type, properties, shape, position, size, distribution and changes of defects inside and on the surface of the test piece by using physical or chemical methods, with the help of modern technology and equipment, without damaging or affecting the performance of the tested object and the internal structure of the tested object.

Nondestructive testing instruments include ultrasonic flaw detectors, coating thickness gauges, ultrasonic thickness gauges, roughness gauges, etc.

If you have the above-mentioned testing instruments, you can contact us at any time.
